Ministries

The gospel motivates us to serve others for the glory of God. We want to serve you, just as Jesus Christ “came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:45)

Children’s Ministry: During our Sunday morning services we offer for your convenience an infant nursery, a toddler nursery, and Praise Factory, a children’s church. The nurseries are located down the hall on the right just beyond the auditorium. There are signs identifying each room.

Praise Factory is available for Children age 3 through 3rd grade. You can sign in your children at a registration table just inside the main entrance. Children participating in Praise Factory are dismissed during the offertory prior to the Sermon and are escorted to their classrooms located in the school cafeteria. If you prefer your children are welcome to remain with you in the service.

Mision Hispana: Guilford’s Spanish ministry in Sterling is led by Pastor Fredy Hernandez. Mision Hispana meets on Sunday mornings at 9:00 at Guilford’s church building.

Iglesia Bautistia Guilford Herndon: Guilford’s Spanish ministry in Herndon is led by Pastor Humberto Perez. They meet at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Herndon at 7:00 on Saturdays, located on 1090 Sterling Rd, Herndon, VA 20171

Food Pantry: Guilford hosts a food pantry at its church building at 9:00 a.m. every third Saturday of each month. Some clients may also be able to receive food throughout the month by delivery. Small Groups: On the first and third Sundays of each month, members of Guilford hold small group meetings throughout the area in lieu of the evening service. These times are set aside as opportunities to engage in deeper relationships with those in the church, encouraging one another to seek Christ in everything.
